Welcome, Sophomore Class!
The Sophomore Class Officers are committed to making your second year at Oakland Technical High School one of growth, connection, and school pride. As representatives of the sophomore class, we work to strengthen our class community, support student involvement, and create meaningful experiences that prepare us for the years ahead.
Sophomore year is an opportunity to build on the foundation of freshman year, take on new challenges, and become more involved in the life of our school.

The Sophomore Class Officers strive to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaged class community by promoting leadership, service, and school spirit while representing the voices of all sophomores.
What We Do
Sophomore Class Officers:

Represent the interests and ideas of the sophomore class.

Plan and organize class events and activities.

Encourage participation in school traditions and campus life.

Coordinate fundraising efforts for future class activities.

Partner with ASB, Leadership, and school staff to enhance the student experience.

Meet Your Sophomore Class Officers
Sophomore Class President
Provides leadership for the sophomore class, represents student interests, and oversees class initiatives and activities.
Sophomore Class Vice President
Assists the president and helps coordinate events, meetings, and projects.
Sophomore Class Secretary
Maintains communication, records important information, and helps keep the class informed.
Sophomore Class Treasurer
Supports fundraising efforts and helps manage class finances and budgeting.
Sophomore Class Representatives
Advocate for their classmates and assist with planning and carrying out class events.

Sophomore year is a time to grow as a leader, strengthen friendships, and become an active member of the Oakland Tech community. The Sophomore Class Officers encourage every student to participate in school events, join clubs and organizations, support athletics and the arts, and take advantage of the many opportunities available at Tech.
Your ideas, talents, and involvement help shape the spirit of our class and contribute to the traditions that make Oakland Tech unique.
